Basic description of the requirement: The Syracuse Molecular laboratory procured the Hologic Panther Fusion in 2024 SN# 1010911020. The analyzer requires the Hologic Panther Service contract in order to expand SARS-COV-2 molecular testing for symptomatic and asymptomatic Veteran s and staff. This will assist with infection control within the Syracuse facility, as well as in the community. Procuring the service contract will allow for uninterrupted service for SARS-CoV-2 testing, among other tests when available. The contract will also allow for service to enhance the laboratory s ability expand PCR testing for other infectious diseases, such as STI s and HPV
