NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE:
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Regional Procurement Office East (RPO East), Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole-source contract award to U & S Service, INC. for a service agreement on hardware and software components of the Andover Direct Digital Control System for one year (12/01/2024 to 11/30/2025), with the provision of four (4) option years, at the Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Centers. Service maintenance agreement shall satisfy the standards of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (Schneider Electric) and include inspection of hardware defects, replacement of any necessary OEM only parts, software updates by the OEM, troubleshooting new software, and phone technical support Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. This agreement shall include all parts, labor, and travel. Contractor shall be an authorized service provider for Schneider Electric, Andover Direct Digital Control System equipment. The contractor shall also provide on-site service support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, within three (3) hours of initial call from the customer.

U & S Service, INC. is the only known authorized provider in the Buffalo/Batavia, NY area for service agreements on Schneider Electric, Andover Direct Digital Control System equipment.

This is not a request for competitive quotes, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by October 29th, 2024, at 12:00pm. Responses shall be submitted via email to Nathan.northrup@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
