In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirement. The VA Northern Indiana, Marion Campus 1700 East 38th Street, Marion Indiana 46952 intends to negotiate a Sole Source Award with Shambaugh & Sons, L.P. They are located at 7614 Opportunity DR # 1287 Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825. Three (3) chillers located at the Marion campus require an acid flushing of the condenser. The contractor shall rinse system with fresh water after flushing, then remove the heads to brush the tubes in the condenser and heat exchange. They shall also be responsible for putting the head back on the chiller and changing the O-Rings in the 3-way valve. Lastly, the contractor shall evaluate the system, and conduct a leak test on the affected items.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
