Who is the present incumbent of this contract?
Answer: None/no previous contract.

What is the total contract value of this contract previously?
Answer: N/A no previous contract.

How many different boiler are needed to be inspected and tested?
Answer: Reference the boiler list included in the Statement of Work (SOW) for types, models and all other information, as well as frequency of testing and inspection required.

Is this a new requirement?
Answer: Yes.

What certifications are required for this project from subcontractors?
Answer: Certification information is listed in the SOW and is required by all contract staff, no matter if prime or subcontractor.

Is it absolutely necessary for subcontractors to have previous experience with industrial boilers and equipment.
Answer: Absolutely yes.

Is this a recompete?
Answer: No.

When will the award be announced?
Answer: Please refer to the Instructions to Offerors section of the RFQ, which states, As this procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, post-award debriefings in accordance with FAR 15.506 will not be conducted.

Will a site visit be offered?
Answer: No. This is boiler testing and inspection only (no repair/maintenance work), and all important boiler information (manufacturer, model, etc.) have been listed in the SOW.

Per the scope of work, the frequency of the safety device testing on the Unilux boilers 1-3 and Lattner Boilers 1 & 2 calls out to be conducted annually. Should this be a semi-annual inspection per the VHA Directive, current edition?
Answer: Other testing to meet the Directive is being handled separately.

What is the make, model, and serial number for the burners on the Unilux boilers 1-3?
Answer: There are no model numbers for the Unilux burners. The make for all the burners is Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
Unilux boiler #1 burner serial# is AS-83315.
Unilux boiler #2 burner serial# is AS-83316.
Unilux boiler #3 burner serial# is AS-83317.

Is there any asbestos material within the boilers and or on the boiler piping?
Answer: No, there is no Asbestos within the boilers or piping.
