PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract to AB SCIEX LLC, 1201 Radio Rd, Redwood City, CA 94065 for the purpose of providing annual Support and Maintenance Service Agreement on the software and hardware for the AB Sciex QTRAP6500 Mass Specttometer and its associated systems Assurance Maintenance Plan located at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13.
The VA facility has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, software, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to complete all work associated with performing preventive maintenance services, necessary inspections, and repair services for the QTRAP6500+ Mass Spectrometer equipment. for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Based on market research, and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that AB SCIEX LLC is the only vendor capable of providing all the required preventive maintenance and repair services in accordance with original equipment manufacturer requirements.
This notice is being distributed solely through the General Services Administration's website at https://sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Surella Tracy, email address: surella.tracy@va.gov, no later than Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:00 am (Central Time).
Per Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 852.212-72(c) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system, verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM. Please submit referenced letter with your response to this announcement.
Only emailed responses will be considered. Information received will be utilized solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is at the sole discretion of the Government.
