The Strathcona Regional District invites tenders for Northern Electoral Area D Water Local Service Area
Universal Water Metering. This project is located near Campbell River, on Vancouver Island, BC. In
general, the work under this contract consists of:

• Supply and installation of approximately 852 - 16 mm x 19 mm dia. ‘smart’ radio read meters, setters, and meter boxes on existing live service connections,
• Conversion/replacement of approximately 162 touch read meters on existing meter setters,
• Provision of handheld and mobile Drive-by meter reading equipment,
• Provision of data processing and billing software, and
• Equipment and software training.
