ITB 199518347 UGA SKIO Main Dock Shore Power Replacement

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, Owner, will receive sealed bids from contractors electronically via the Jaggaer Sourcing Director online bidding tool. Electronic bids must be submitted, by 2:00 PM Legally Prevailing Time in Athens, Georgia on Friday, May 30, 2025 for the construction of: "199518347 UGA SKIO MAIN DOCK SHORE POWER REPLACEMENT," bid number 51800-eRFQ-000001414-2025  for the University of Georgia Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, Savannah, GA. At the time and place noted above, the bids will be publicly opened and announced. Public Bid Opening Information is in Buyer Attachments.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Furnish & install and complete all labor, material & equipment as required for the work for the electrical upgrades to main dock. All work as described on contract drawings entitled ¿SKIO DOCK ELECTRICAL UPGRADES¿.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT: There will be a pre-bid conference held on Thursday, May 08, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m., at UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, 10 Ocean Science Circle, Savannah, GA 31411 (Skidaway River). Attendance at this conference is MANDATORY for any General Contractor intending to bid on this project. All prospective bidders shall have a representative to attend and participate in a tour of the work site conducted by the Owner¿s Representative. Failure to attend the mandatory site visit is basis for rejection of bid. Sub-Contractors and others may attend if they so desire.
