PRE-BID CONFERENCE -
MANDATORY
A pre-bid meeting (mandatory for all general contractors submitting bids) will be held starting at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Trousdale Community Center, 301 E Main Street, Hartsville, TN 37074. The purpose of this meeting will be to review the plans and answer any questions regarding the project. Bids will not be accepted from general contractors who did not attend the pre-bid meeting, unless deemed to do so by Hartsville/Trousdale County.
RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS
Separate sealed proposals for the construction of the Proposed Trousdale County Health Department Addition & Renovation are invited and will be received at the Hartsville/Trousdale County Mayor Office 328 Broadway Room 6, Hartsville, Tennessee 37074, on or before, but no later than 10:00 A.M. (local time), on Tuesday December 10, 2024, and immediately thereafter all bids will be publicly opened and the bids read aloud. Each Bidder shall note that any request for interpretation regarding the plans, specifications or other bidding documents shall be received at least five (5) days prior to the fixed date for the opening of bids. Material substitution request shall be received at least five (5) days prior to the fixed date for the opening of bids.
Sealed envelopes or packages containing proposals shall be marked or endorsed “Proposal for Trousdale County Health Department, Proposed 2024-25 Addition & Renovation”. No proposal will be considered unless it is made on the proposal form, which is included in the Contract Documents. The proposal must not be removed from the Contract Documents with which it has been bound by Hartsville/Trousdale County.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The above designated construction work shall include the following described construction:
1. Site and Utility Work – grading, concrete and asphalt paving, and landscaping.
2. Building – Includes all materials, building, insulation, electrical, HVAC, floor finishes, painting, plumbing, electrical, and other work incidental to completing the project as shown on the plans.
All work must be performed in accordance with and as provided in the Contract Documents, which are on file at the Office of the Architect, Studio Oakley Architects, LLC, 233 Legends Drive, Suite 102, Lebanon, Tennessee 37087.
