ITB 2026-1000-0194 Tactical Aerial Firefighting Platform - Division of Forestry & Fire Protection
PURPOSE
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Forestry and Fire Protection (DFFP), is soliciting competitive bids from qualified vendors to lease a Tactical Multi-Mission Aircraft to support the Division’s Aerial Supervision Module (ASM) and Multi-Mission aviation programs. The aircraft will be used to provide tactical aerial supervision of wildland fire incidents, coordination of aerial firefighting resources, and logistical and multi-mission aviation support in furtherance of the Division’s mission to protect life, property, and natural resources from wildland fire and other all-hazards incidents.
BID SUBMITTAL
Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on January 20,2026, via email to madelyn.lowe@alaska.gov, or mailed/hand delivered to DNR/DOF 101 Airport Rd. Palmer, AK 99645. Responses received after this date and time will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. IMPORTANT NOTICE
If you receive this solicitation from the State's Online Public Notice website, you must register with the DNR Procurement Section to receive subsequent amendments. Registration must be in writing and may be made via email to madelyn.lowe@alaska.gov.
