INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Juneau Second St & Gold St Parking Garage Repairs, Program Number SPFAC00540, will be received before 2:00 p.m., November 13, 2024 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project includes corrosion removal with metal coating, patching, and painting; steel and concrete repairs and replacement; painted traffic/parking markings; electrical power, lighting, and signal repairs; and deck drain installation to extend the useful life of the parking garage at Second St & Gold St in Juneau, Alaska. The contract includes three (3) additive alternates for each of the following: cleaning and painting all exposed steel, patching and painting concrete masonry unit (CMU) parapets, and upgrading the base bid traffic coating to an enhanced coating.

No formal pre-bid site visit is scheduled. The site is available for inspection during the bidding process, though the upper level is currently closed to vehicle access. To coordinate a site visit, bidders are requested to contact the Project Manager.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. The Project substantial completion date will be May 29, 2026.

From the DOT&PF website: http://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-bids.cfm?rc=CR your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room, or your bid may not be accepted.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
