Project Description: Project limits are from W Gulf Bank to Fallbrook Dr. on Sam Houston Tollway in Precinct 1 & 3. The existing pavement surface
to be replaced is an asphalt permeable friction course (PFC). The PFC, installed in 2019, is reaching its end of life. Current PFC
overlay is beginning to show signs of delamination. In keeping up with HCTRA's mission statement, HCTRA will replace the PFC
in support of responsibly operating and maintaining a safe roadway for all Harris County residents.
