Summary

The Town of Davie is seeking qualified contractors to remove the existing playground structure, install a new structure, and remove and install outdoor fitness equipment. The Project is funded with Community Development Block Grant Funding (CDBG) which has specific requirements that must be followed. The estimated budget for this project is $350,000.

Background

The Town of Davie is home to nearly 107,000 residents who live across a lush 35 square miles within central Broward. The Town's rural atmosphere, western-themed district, and sprawling educational complex foster an environment that separates Davie from all other municipalities in Broward County. Pre-Bid Conference (Mandatory):

June 23, 2025, 2:30pm

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Pine Island Multipurpose Center, 3801 S Pine Island Rd, Davie, FL 33328. A site visit will immediately follow the Pre-Bid Conference. In order to be eligible to respond to this solicitation, bidders are required to attend the pre-bid conference and site visit.

The sign in sheet will be available up until the commencement of the pre-bid conference. Bidders are required to sign in PRIOR to the start of the conference. No one will be permitted to sign in after the meeting starts. Failure to do so will deem the bidder absent to the pre-bid conference and ineligible to respond to this solicitation.

Bid responses will be publicly opened and firm names read aloud at Temporary Town Hall Building “D”, located at 8800 SW 36th Street Davie, FL 33328, after the due date/time noted above.
