Pursuant to the General Statutes of North Carolina (Section 143-129 et. seq.), Brunswick County

is soliciting sealed bids for replacement of aboveground storage tanks located at 4280 Committee

Drive SE, Southport NC 28461 and 7061 Old Georgetown Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469

Each bid must be made on the blank forms provided and must be addressed to Charles Colby, Fleet

Services Manager, Operation Services Department, 179 March 9, 1764 Drive, Bolivia, NC 28422.

Each bid must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside “RE-ADVERTISEMENT

ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK REPLACEMENT – EMS BASE #4 SOUTHPORT AND

EMS BASE #3 OCEAN ISLE BEACH,” with the name, address, and license number of the

bidder. Bidders interested in being considered for this work must submit a bid for

both locations. If you previously submitted a bid AND ARE INTERESTED IN STILL

BEING CONSIDERED FOR THIS WORK, YOU MUST RE-SUBMIT A BID

ACKNOWLEDGING THIS RE-ADVERTISEMENT AND ALL ADDENDA. Sealed bids

will be opened publicly and read aloud on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 am ET within

the Department of Operation Services, located at 179 March 9, 1764 Drive, Bolivia, NC 28422.

Brunswick County will not be responsible for the failure of any mail or delivery service to

deliver a bid. Regardless of the manner of submission, bids received after the

aforementioned date and time or bids not submitted at the correct location or in the

designated manner will not be accepted.
