Summary:The County is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction services to replace the existing superstructure and repair the substructure at Arlington Ridge Road. The bridge will be placed on the existing horizontal alignment using phased construction. One lane of traffic in each direction will always remain open. The proposed typical section will have 4 – 11’ lanes and a 12’ raised sidewalk on each side. The 12’ wide sidewalks will improve safety for pedestrians and bicycles. The 12’ sidewalks will extend to the intersection of Rte. 120 to the north of the bridge and tie into the existing sidewalks as quickly as possible on the south end of the bridge. The project also includes MOT, lighting, utility relocations, trail improvements, bridge artwork, and all other work shown, described, and required by the Contract Documents.
