ITB NFHWY00787 Northern Region Seismic Bridge Retrofit FFY2023

Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work on Project No. 0002528/NFHWY00787, Northern Region Seismic Bridge Retrofit FFY2023, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, May 19, 2026, in the Office of the Contracts Engineer, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.

The project consists of performing seismic retrofits on the following bridges: Edgerton Highway - Copper River (Chitina) #0205, Tonsina River #0288; Old Rich @ Copper Center - Klutina River #0572; Parks Highway - North Slough Tanana River #0201, Tanana River at Nenana #0202; Richardson Highway - Tanana River Big Delta #0524, Little Salcha River #0530, Klutina River #1746.

Engineer's Estimate is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.

The project completion date is October 31, 2027.

Hard copies of plans & specifications are still available from the Contracts Section, Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska 99709, telephone number: 907-451-2247; TDD: 711 or 1-800-770-8973 (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment).  There is a non-refundable charge of $100, per set.  Check or money order must be made payable to:  State of Alaska.

Bidding documents are available for inspection at the DOT&PF regional office in Fairbanks.
