Amendment #1

The purpose of Amendment #1 is to:

• Remove “Dunnage material shall be wood, minimum 3.5” high, banded to the bottom of unit to aid in handling.” in its entirety and replace with:

“Dunnage material shall be wood, minimum 3” maximum 4” high, banded to the bottom of unit to aid in handling.”

• Provide answers to questions received.

This Amendment #1 is a mandatory Return Amendment.

The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Division of Program Management and Administration, is soliciting bids for untreated timber to be used for re-decking the Yukon River Bridge.

Bids must be received no later than 2:00 pm Alaska Time on March 10, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened. Late bids or amendments will be considered non-responsive and will not be opened or accepted for evaluation. Faxed or oral proposals will not be accepted.

Copies of bid documents may be downloaded (Adobe Acrobat format) from this Online Public Notice website. If you download the solicitation, you must register with the Procurement Officer listed below to receive subsequent amendments. Failure to contact the Procurement Officer may result in the rejection of your offer.
