ITB MO-SMU-AGG01 Cummings Road Surfacing Upgrades
Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work on Project No. MO-SMU-AGG01, Cummings Road Surfacing Upgrades, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, May 22, 2025, in the Office of the Contracts Engineer, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.
The project consists of resurfacing 2.4 miles with new surfacing material and raising grade for approximately 2,000 LF to help mitigate seasonal water levels at roadside slough section.
Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
The project completion date is 45 calendar days and by September 30, 2025.
Plans, specs, bid documents, reports, addenda and other bidder information are posted online, available for downloading free of charge at: https://ui.bidx.com/ALASKA/lettings .
Hard copies of plans & specifications are still available from the Contracts Section, Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska 99709, telephone number: 907-451-2247; TDD: 711 or 1-800-770-8973 (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is a non-refundable charge of $50, per set. Check or money order must be made payable to: State of Alaska.
Bidding documents are available for inspection at the DOT&PF regional office in Fairbanks.
