ITB #6856: Sealed bids for Demolition of Two Structures at 901 Riverview Drive will be received by the Johnson City Purchasing Department, attn: Debbie Dillon, Director, 209 Water Street, Johnson City, Tennessee 37601 UNTIL: Wednesday, August 20 at 2:00 PM local time at which time and place bids will be publicly opened via web conference and in-person, simultaneously. Bids received after that time will not be considered. Telephone, facsimile or emailed offers will not be accepted.

Bids will only be accepted from Bidders of Record noted on the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference Sign-In Sheet.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, August 6 at 2:00 PM local time at Water & Sewer Services Dept. Secondary Complex, 901 Riverview Drive, Johnson City, Tennessee 37601.

Bids are invited for a General Contract for the Work of the above project. Work shall include, but not be limited to: Structural Demolition of two existing structures, salvaging of Owner requested items, and backfilling of exposed subgrade.

Bidding documents may be examined at the Architect's office, the City of Johnson City Purchasing Department, and at the following Plan Rooms:

All Bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6) of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Five percent (5%) Bid Security, General Contract Form, Insurance Checklist, Drug Free Workplace Affidavit, Bidder Acknowledgment of Forms, and a copy of the Bidder's State Contractor's License must be completed and returned with bid package. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid or bids that are judged to be in the best interest of the Owner.
