Description
The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) will receive bids for CVG Centre Roof Replacement & Fall Protection. This project is for the replacement of sections of the CVG Centre roof that are at or past their useful life, before the development of age and condition related failures. The roof systems at the CVG Centre were installed in 1999 and have exceeded their expected service life. Routine maintenance and inspections have identified the majority of these sections as being in poor condition and recommended for replacement to avoid failures resulting from age and deterioration. This project aims to complete the necessary roof replacements on an occupied, multi-level building. The scope includes the design of the roofing, fall protection, and restoration of the lightning protection systems which will be delegated to the contractor as part of a design-build delivery.
