INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Seward Highway, McHugh Creek Turn Lane, Project Number CSHWY01279, will be received before 2:00 p.m., October 22, 2025 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project proposes to construct a left turn lane at McHugh Creek Recreation Area. The project includes pavement widening to add a 10-foot-wide southbound left turning lane, reconstructing the embankment between the roadway and the railroad tracks, signing, striping, and guardrail.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project completion date will be October 31, 2026.
