2026 COMMERCE DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

Sealed bids on the “2026 COMMERCE DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION; CONTRACT NO. 01”, will be received

in the office of the City Clerk, in the City Hall, 333 West Ellsworth Street, Midland, Michigan 48640

until 2:00 p.m., January 13, 2026, after which time no further bids will be received. All bids will be

publicly opened and read at this time and place. Bids will be tabulated and a contract may be

awarded at a later City Council meeting.

CONTRACT NO. 01 is for the street reconstruction of Commerce Drive from Eastman Avenue to the

Jacobs Drain. Some of the quantities listed in the Itemized Bid are as follows:

Proposal will be required with each bid.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or defects, and

may accept other than the low bid when deemed in the City’s best interest.
