INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Seward Highway MP 14 Railroad Crossing Reconstruction, Program Number 0311037 / CFHWY00947, will be received before 2:00 p.m., May 27, 2026 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will reconstruct Seward Highway MP 14 Railroad Crossing to accommodate Alaska Railroad Corporation's project to raise the railroad grade. Work includes grading, drainage improvements, MSE wall, bridge, paving, signing, and striping.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 30, 2027.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings .
