INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery Roof Replacement, Project Number 25C1161609, will be received before 2:00 p.m., September 9, 2026 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state-funded project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace a portion of the existing roof at the William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery in Anchorage, Alaska. Work includes removal of existing roofing materials and related mechanical and electrical work. The contract includes one (1) additive alternate for installation of heat trace at the roof drains within the Basic Bid work area.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Project substantial completion date will be June 30, 2027.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday August 25, 2026 at the project location (941 N Reeve Blvd). Please RSVP a minimum of 48 hours in advance with the project manager, Eric Hershey, at eric.hershey@alaska.gov or (907) 269-5572.
