INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Interior Alaska Veterans Cemetery, Project Number AK-09-01 / RSA0921090, will be received before 2:00 p.m., September 3, 2025 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will construct the Interior Alaska Veterans Cemetery facility in Salcha, Alaska. Work includes site grading, fencing, roadways, parking areas, walkways, site utilities, and construction of cemetery, administration, and maintenance facilities. The contract includes six (6) additive alternates for construction of various facility components described in the specifications and drawings.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 10:00am on Friday August 8, 2025 at the project location (7229 Dehalden Lane, Salcha, AK 99714). Bidders intending to participate are requested to notify the Project Manager, Lauren Staft, at (907) 451-5424 or lauren.staft@alaska.gov at least 48 hours in advance.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The Project substantial completion date will be September 30, 2027.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings . Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
