The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) hereby seeks authorized sources to maintain and repair Airlift/Helo-lift certifiable ISU-90 containers.
DTRA requires repair of previously purchased ISU-90 containers. All the containers are outside of the manufacturer’s warranty period. The containers are in three (3) different locations with 21 containers in the Ft Belvoir/Springfield, VA area and one (1) container located at Ft Liberty, NC. Each container is unique in the repairs required.
All parts must meet the certification standards of MIL-STD-209 (Lifting, tiedown, and cargo tiedown provisions) and MIL-STD-913 (Performance requirements of military equipment for Helicopter Sling Loading) for external air transport and certification standards under MIL-HDBK-1791 (Designing for Internal Aerial Delivery in Fixed Wing Aircraft). The mission requires the ISU-90 containers maintain their ability to be worldwide deployable via air.
Responses should clearly confirm source’s ability and interest to meet the requirements provided and include all socio-economic categories applicable. Negative responses are requested.
