IRFP 10-004-26 Matanuska Glacier State Recreation Site Concessionaire

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, is soliciting proposals for a qualified entity to operate and manage the Matanuska Glacier State Recreational Site. A more detailed description including scope of work can be found in the IRFP.

In order for offers to be considered responsive offerors must meet these minimum prior experience requirements:

• Preferred Experience 1: Previous experience operating small businesses, campgrounds or similar outdoor recreation facilities whether public or private.

• Preferred Experience 2: Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Alaska State Park campgrounds.

• Minimum Requirement 3: Demonstrated capacity (financial and staff capacity) to operate at a remote location.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on December 02, 2025.

DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: Questions must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on November 20, 2025.
