Iredell County Government Center Interior Renovations - GC6I - CMAR

Iredell County is seeking Statements of Qualifications from construction companies for the Iredell County Government Center Interior Renovation project. The project site is located at 200 South Center Street, Statesville North Carolina 28677 and entails several portions of interior renovations for the 1899 Iredell County Historical Courthouse Building. The scope of the project could include the following:

• Interior finishes upgrades/replacement of carpet and coatings
• Extensive plaster repair
• Mechanical upgrades
• Lighting upgrades
• Plumbing upgrades
• Addition of a atrium clear story replacement and storefront rear entrance replacement
• The project could include upfitting a portion of the main building's basement for offices

The selected Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) company assigned project staff must be proven to have and demonstrate experienced in all phases of construction of similar public facilities; have extensive knowledge of the regulations governing design and construction in the State of North Carolina; and have a proven capability to effectively and efficiently produce a successful project consistent with, and meeting the needs of, the goals outlined by Iredell County. Must have experience in work on 100-year-old buildings and familiarity with previous Iredell County Government Center projects. Must have experience working with the City of Statesville’s Design Development and Technical Review processes.
