Iowa City Senior Center Exterior Door and Window Replacement Project

Description of Work:

The Project will involve the repair, restoration and rehabilitation of the exterior envelope at an existing historic (circa 1929) building including the following: remove and replace existing aluminum-framed windows (circa 1979); repair and refurbish existing historic wood elements at monumental openings; repair and refurbish the existing historic painted wood surrounds at two (2) west entries; remove and replace existing exterior storefront entries and associated glazing areas; provide and install new exterior door hardware, access control devices, operations & related accessories including new required electrical power for new hardware; remove and replace existing storefront at two light court openings; remove and replace other non-storefront existing exterior entry/exit doors; remove and replace one (1) roof hatch and associated roof patching; provide and install new interior manual solar roller shades at windows scheduled and specified; and other work as indicated in the Contracted Documents. The Project is located at the Iowa City Senior Center, 28 South Linn Street, Iowa City, Iowa 52240.
