WINWOOD PARK RELIEF SEWER

General Notice

The City of Gardner, Kansas (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Winwood Park Relief Sewer- 0323149.01
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Utilities Department Building located at 1150 E Santa Fe St., Gardner, KS 66030, until October 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM local time.  At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project includes the following Work:
The construction of the sanitary sewer pipelines and manholes related to the Winwood Park Relief Sewer project.  This also includes the demolition of the existing Genesis Lift Station and connections to the existing sewer system.

Prospective bidders desiring copies of plans, specifications, bid documents, and other Contract Documents can purchase these documents (non-refundable) online at Drexel Technologies in their eDistribution Plan Room at www.drexeltech.com .  Additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com or 913-371-4430.  Information regarding this project can be found under the "Public Jobs" link on the website.  Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available from Drexel Technologies or Lamp Rynearson.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained form sources other than the Issuing Office.  Any questions regarding the project, plans, specifications, bid documents, or Contract Documents should be directed to Lamp Rynearson at 816-361-0440, or to andrew.conard@lamprynearson.com .
Bid Security

Each Bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Bid Bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) in the amount of 5% and shall be payable without condition to the City of Gardner as a guarantee that the Bidder, if successful, will execute the Agreement and provide an acceptable Contract Bond from an approved surety in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price within the time allowed.
