INVITATION TO BID – WALNUT RUN HICKORY PLACE WELL

TO DRILL A CLASS IIB PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY WELL
The Western Virginia Water Authority (OWNER), 601 S. Jefferson Street, Roanoke, VA 24011, intends to construct a Class IIB public water supply well.  The well site, located in Franklin County on Tax Parcel #0030101400 (adjacent Hickory Place), has been approved by the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). The location of the well should be in the northwestern corner of the lot.  The purpose of the well is to provide additional potable drinking water supply for the Walnut Run subdivision. The well lot is currently owned by the Walnut Run Property Owners Association.  All work shall be performed under the observation of the OWNER. Following completion of the work, the CONTRACTOR shall prepare, submit and certify specified records to the proper responsible authorities.

The BID DUE DATE is at 2:00 P.M. E.S.T. on AUTUST 1, 2025.  THE BID OPENING will immediately follow in the conference room at the Roanoke RegionalWater Pollution Control Plant (WPCP).
