INVITATION FOR BIDS

Sumter Miracle League Park - Phase 2

RECEIPT OF BIDS: Separate sealed bids for the construction of the above referenced project

will be received by the Owner at their office, by, December 4, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. local time, at

place of bidding, Sumter County Admin Building Council Chambers, located at 13 E Canal St.,

Sumter, SC 29150, 3rd Floor, and at said location will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid

may be withdrawn within a period of ninety (90) days to allow time for Bid review, qualification

of Bidder, and approval of award from funding agencies

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists clearing and grubbing and installation of park

elements to expand existing Patriot Park. Work shall include a Miracle League Field, additional

inclusive playground equipment, lighting, landscape and irrigation, restrooms building, pavilions

sidewalks, drainage and new associated parking improvements. Prior experience, qualifications

and product certification will be required. This project will be funded through Sumter County.

PRE-BID MEETING: A Mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held at the Sumter County Admin

Building Council Chambers 3rd Floor, located at 13 E. Canal St., Sumter, SC 29150 on

November 18, 2025 at 10:00 am. The purpose of such a meeting will be to review this project

and to answer any questions regarding the project. Any Contractor that does not attend the pre-

bid will be disqualified.
