UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY
The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority (CWVRAA) is notifying the contracting community of an
upcoming construction contract opportunity at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW). CWVRAA
plans to install a new Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB - approximately 23,560 sq ft) for the storage of
Snow Removal Equipment. The project will take place landside/ outside of the Airfield Security Area. This
work will be funded by a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant and will be subject to FAA grant
requirements and reporting obligations.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
SRE Building work includes:
1. Removal of existing pavement and general site clearing
2. Erosion and sediment control devices
3. Installation of a new Pre-Engineered Metal Building including concrete footings
4. Installation of a paved roadway (asphalt)
5. Installation of new utilities
i. Water
ii. Sanitary
iii. Electrical
iv. Telecommunication and
v. Storm drain
6. New fencing and gate
7. New Security Cameras and Card Readers
8. Installation of bollards, sidewalk and pavement marking

Notice to Proceed will be issued following receipt of the FAA grant. The current anticipated construction
duration is 240 Consecutive Calendar Days. Description of Work is not final and is not a substitute for full
plan set.
