TOWN OF SCITUATE

FACILITIES DEPARTMENT

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids are invited for the procurement and installation of a second generator at the Gates

Middle School.

Bids will be received by the Town of Scituate, Town Administrator, 600 Chief Justice Cushing

Highway, Scituate, MA 02066, on February 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST. There is a mandatory

site visit for any bidder that did not previously attend the site walk for this project and must be

arranged prior to submitting a bid. Project contact is Facilities Director Cameron MacDonald at

cmacdonald@scituatema.gov.

The Town Administrator reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in part or in whole, as may be

determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Scituate. Prices quoted to be in effect from

the date of award. Bid deposit of 5% of the value of the bid and 100% payment bond and 100%

performance bond required for contract execution. DCAMM certification in work category of

Mechanical Systems and Update Statement required.

Bids may not be withdrawn and will remain firm for thirty (30) days of bid opening, Saturday,

Sunday and Holidays excluded. The Town of Scituate is an equal opportunity employer and
