Invitation to Bid: Ports of Indiana-Burns Harbor Shed 2 Dock & Leveler Repairs

Ports of Indiana is issuing this invitation to bid for the repairs to Burns Harbor Shed 2 dock and levelers at the Burns Harbor port located in Porter County, Indiana. Specifications and requirements can be found in the Bid Packet.

Bids must include all items as specified by the contract plans and specifications and be emailed to bids@portsofindiana.com or delivered to the Port Office by 11 a.m. (CT) September 12, 2025: 6625 S. Boundary Road, Portage, IN 46368.

For all plans and specifications: Email asedam@portsofindiana.com to request a Bid Packet. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid is required. POI intends to award the contract to the lowest and best bid.

Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting/site inspection will take place on September 4, 2025, at 1 p.m. (CT). Bidders should meet at the Port Office, 6625 S. Boundary Road, Portage, IN 46368.
