Charles county Public Schools (CCPS) is seeking sealed bids to provide selective interior demolition and extensive renovation within the existing open areas to accommodate program space relationships at Indian Head Elementary School.  Project will be in an occupied building requiring extended hours and phased work over 2 summers.  Project schedule is 485 days.  Project budget is estimated between $5 million and $6.5 million. will be received at the Charles County Public Schools Annex 1, 2 ^nd Floor Training Room #206, 5985 Radio Station Road in La Plata, Maryland until 2:00 P.M. - Local Time – March 20, 2025.

Proposed Bidders who seek to be pre-qualified shall complete the Contractor’s Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and submit for approval to bid this project. Submit completed questionnaires and financials to Mrs. Susan Pond ( spond@ccboe.com ) prior to 1:00 pm on the mandatory pre-bid conference date of March 5, 2025.  Any incomplete package or late package will not be accepted and returned to contractor.

Prospective bidders must assemble at Indian Head Elementary School, 4200 Indian Head Hwy, Indian Head, Maryland on March 5, 2025, at 2:30 PM for a MANDATORY Pre-Bid conference. It is MANDATORY that all bidders attend the pre-bid conference and site visit.

The Charles County Public Schools, Maryland, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality in bidding.
