Invitation to Bid - GMP #1 - Wayne K. Curry Civic Plaza

J. Vinton Schafer Construction LLC is soliciting Subcontractor bid proposals for the project referenced above. This project represents multiple opportunities for Trade Packages including concrete, masonry, metals, carpentry, roofing, doors & hardware, painting, signage, playfield equipment, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, exterior improvements and utilities. Project is anticipated to start in the spring of 2025 and be completed in December of 2025.

The Subcontractor Bid Packages requested in this invitation are as follows:
· Package 1-A – General Trades Package
· Package 1-B – Testing & Inspections.
· Package 2-A – Water Utilities (Water -distribution piping and related components outside the building for the water service and fire -service mains).
· Package 2-B – Storm Utility Drainage Utilities (pipe, fittings, pre-cast concrete manholes, structures, inlets, inspection and leak repair, drains, SWM install).
· Package 2-C – Site Clearing & Earth Moving (ESC controls, demolition, clearing & grubbing, removal & salvage of existing items, temp traffic control, off-site borrowed soils).
· Package 2-D – Asphalt Paving (Hot-mix asphalt patching, repair, paving and removal, salvaging and reinstalling of street regulatory signage).
· Package 3-A – Concrete Paving (curbs & gutters, concrete edging, sidewalks and walkways, concrete paving, slabs on grade, CIP Concrete Retaining Walls, concrete pads, and footings for site furnishes including but not limited to pavilion, swings, stage).
· Package 4-A – Concrete Unit Masonry (Masonry).
· Package 5-A – Decorative Metal Railings, Welded Wire Fences & Gates.
· Package 7-A – Roofing.
· Package 9-A – Exterior Painting.
· Package 10-A – Pylon Signage.
· Package 11-A – Equipment.
· Package 13-A – Special Construction (Tensioned Fabric Structures) Alternate #2.
· Package 15-A – Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning
· Package 16-A – Electrical.
· Package 32-A. – Custom Site Structures and Amenities (Stage, Free Speech Frame, Podium & Swing Structure, Swing, Swing Arms and Pavilion). Installation.
· Package 32-B. –Exterior Improvements. - Unit Pavers, Stone Paving, Synthetic Grass Surfacing, Rubberized Playground protective Surfacing, Site Furnishings, Manufactured Site Specialties, Planting Irrigation, Lawns and Grasses, Structural Planting Soil, Plants.
