BelowSpecifications are requested:

1. It is the intent of the followingspecifications to describe the Culvert needs for Fannin County for one contract year only to begin upon acceptance.

2. Bid prices shall be based on deliveryto county barns as specified or to specific site locations within theboundaries of Fannin County, Texas with no minimum load.

3. Bidder shall indicate discount for pickup by county barns at plant or distribution point.

4. Pipe may be ordered in varied lengthsfrom three (3) to sixty (60) feet in order to meet the county's requirement.

5. Ends on all pipes will be finished bygrinding smooth and painting with galvanizing paing, or corrugated. NO PIPE WITH JAGGED OR PIGTAIL ENDS WILLBE ACCEPTED.

6. The diameter size will be determined byINSIDE MEASUREMENT of thepipe.

7. All pipes will conform to the TexasHighway Specifications, especially in regard to roper gauge and corrugations (22/3" x 1/2" or 3" x 1") as required in relation to thediameter size of the pipe.

8.Allorders shall be delivered to county barns or designated locations within five(5) working days after receipt of order. Emergency orders shall be handles on a same day or next working daydelivery basis. This requirement issuspended in the event of inclement weather.

Any violation of the above specificationsby the successful bidder will constitute just cause for the Commissioners Courtto cancel the contract should it so desire.

DELIVERY: Alldelivery and freight charges (FOB Fannin County designated location) are to beincluded in the delivered bid price.

SUCCESSFULBIDDER SHALL defend, indemnify and hold harmless Fannin County and all itsofficers, agents and employees from all suits, actions, or other claims of anycharacter, name and description brought for or on account of any injuries ordamages received or sustained by any person, persons, or property on account ofany negligent act or fault of the successful bidder, or of any agent, employee,subcontractor or supplier in the execution of, or performance under, anycontract which may result from bid award. Successful bidder shall pay any judgment with cost which may be obtainedagainst FanninCounty growing out of such injury ordamages.

Fannin County reserves the right to acceptand or reject any and all bids.
