Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Bennington Keywords: Architect and Engineering (Building), Construction (Building), Electrical Equipment and Supplies, HVAC, Plumbing and Heating, Windows and Window Decor, Electrical Contractor, Mechanical Services and Repair, General Contractor, Heating Equipment, Heating Installation and Services Bid Description: Attention: General Contractors, HVAC Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Insulation and other specialty Contractors. The Project consists of the replacement of the majority of the HVAC and mechanical equipment within the building as well as upgrades to insulation, windows and doors. This will include utilizing electric-sourced heat pumps for cooling and heating, replacement of boilers, HRV ventilation equipment, replace air handling units, required ductwork, and system controls. Insulation and air seal the walls, floors and ceiling where possible and also in the attic area. Insulate and air seal the windows and doors. Bid documents are available electronically any time after November 18th 2025 by request. Contact Centerline Architects & Planners at – mail@clarch.com or 802-447-8609. A pre-bid site visit will be held at the Library in Bennington, Vermont at 9:00 am, Tuesday November 25th. It is strongly encouraged that contractors be in attendance to bid on the project. Questions regarding the bid can be submitted via email to: mail@clarch.com Questions shall be submitted by 4:00 pm. on Tuesday December 9. Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 pm, Tuesday December 16th, 2025. The bids shall be either hand delivered in hardcopy form in a sealed envelope to: Bennington Free Library 101 Silver Street, Bennington, VT 05201 Or submitted via email to both: Mail.clarch.com and director@bfli.org The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submissions.
