Alameda Day Center Project HHS No. 25-01
The City of Alameda (“City”) Housing and Human Services Division ("HHS") will accept sealed bids for its Alameda Day Center Project (HHS No. 25-01).
The bid opening date is Wednesday, November 5, 2025. All bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. to the City of Alameda, Housing and Human Services Division, 950 West Mall Square, Suite 201, Alameda. The bid opening time is 2:10 p.m. in Suite 201.
Project Summary
The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with renovation of existing office space into new day center and night shelter for displaced community members, consisting of interior renovation of existing space including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure, new fire sprinkler and alarm system, replacement of existing sewer lateral, modification of the existing parking and site area, replacement of the existing roof system, and related finishes and modifications. This Project is situated on the following City streets: West Midway Avenue and Lexington
Approximate cost of construction: $2,400,000.
There is a mandatory onsite Pre-bid meeting and site walk on October 21, 2025 at 10:00am. Prospective bidders will meet at 1041 West Midway Avenue, Alameda, CA.
