REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PLAYGROUND PROJECT
RANDOLPH COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM
RANDOLPH COUNTY, GEORGIA
1. PURPOSE
The Randolph County School System is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced playground
manufacturers, designers, vendors, contractors, or authorized representatives to provide the design,
furnishing, delivery, site preparation, installation, safety surfacing, inspection, and completion of a
new elementary school playground.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to obtain a safe, durable, age-appropriate, accessible,
inclusive, and engaging playground that supports the physical, social, emotional, and developmental
needs of elementary school students.
The successful proposer shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation,
permits, services, and incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the
requirements of this RFP.
All work shall be completed in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations,
codes, standards, and requirements, including applicable playground safety and accessibility
requirements.
2. MAXIMUM PROJECT AMOUNT
Maximum Project Amount: $165,000.00
The total proposed cost shall not exceed One Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00).
The proposed price shall include all costs associated with providing a complete and operational playground,
including, but not limited to:
• Playground design and layout
• Playground equipment
• Freight and delivery
• Site preparation
• Grading and drainage
• Installation and assembly

• Protective playground surfacing
• Accessible routes and accessible play features
• Borders, curbing, or containment systems
• Labor and supervision
• Permits, inspections, and applicable fees
• Project management
• Final safety inspection
• Warranty documentation
• Cleanup and removal of construction debris
• All other materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary for a complete and operational
playground
No additional costs shall be charged to the Randolph County School System unless authorized in
writing through an approved change order.
3. PROJECT LOCATION
The project will be located at an elementary school within the Randolph County School System in Randolph
County, Georgia.
The successful proposer shall verify all site conditions before beginning work. The Randolph County School
System may provide available site information; however, each proposer is responsible for independently
evaluating the project site and identifying existing conditions that may affect the proposed work.
The proposer shall be responsible for incorporating all reasonably observable site conditions into its
proposal and pricing.

The Randolph County School System reserves the right to revise this schedule as necessary. Any changes
will be communicated to interested proposers.

5. SITE VISIT
All interested proposers are strongly encouraged to visit the project site before submitting a proposal.

All site visits must be scheduled in advance and conducted Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m.
Proposers are responsible for inspecting the project site and becoming familiar with existing conditions
before submitting a proposal.
Submission of a proposal shall constitute the proposer's acknowledgment that it has considered all
reasonably observable site conditions that may affect the scope, cost, schedule, or completion of the
project.
6. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
Proposals must be received no later than October 2, 2026 @ 10:00 am. Proposals received after the
stated deadline may be rejected.
