INVITATION TO BID: CREEKSIDE PARK RENOVATIONS

The Village of Brookfield does hereby invite sealed bids for Creekside Park Renovations. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, playground installation, shelter installation, prefab vault restroom installation, concrete paving, fencing, playground surfacing, site furniture installation, underdrain, water line connection to drinking fountain, restoration.

Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 11:00 AM on August 19, 2026 from BuildingConnected. Visit app.buildingconnected.com for details. There is no cost to download the PDF files. Hard copies are at the contractor’s expense.

Bids will be accepted at the Village of Brookfield, 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois, 60513 during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Bid for Creekside Park Renovations,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM on September 03, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud starting at 2:01 PM at the Village of Brookfield, 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, IL, 60513. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village or Brookfield.

Village of Brookfield reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Village of Brookfield. The Village of Brookfield encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The contractor(s) selected will also be required to comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and executive orders pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
