Riley County is accepting bids for the purchase of the following item:

Compact Utility Tractor with Cab and Front Loader

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners at the office of the County Clerk, 110 Courthouse Plaza, Manhattan, Kansas until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and publicly opened in the Commissioner office at 9:20 a.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026. Bid forms and specifications may be acquired at the Riley County Public Works Office, 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, Kansas 66503.   Phone 785-537-6330.  The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive technicalities and to purchase the equipment which in the Board's opinion is in the best interest of Riley County. SCOPE: The following specifications are for a compact utility tractor with cab and front loader that will be used for general park maintenance activities. The compact utility tractor must be new. The successful bidder shall deliver the compact utility tractor to Riley County Parks, 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, KS 66503. The following specifications are to be considered as minimum requirements. Exceptions to the specifications may be allowed as determined by Riley County.

•        OSHA, SAE and CSA compliant cab for rollover protection
•        80 dba noise rated cab or better
•        Air ride seat
•        LED rear work lights
•        Rear wiper
•        Bluetooth radio
•        68” wheelbase or close to it
•        Quick attach removable front-end loader with bucket
•        3rd function hydraulics quick coupler for loader
