Centennial Road and Arnold Avenue Improvements

You are invited to bid on a single general contract for the Centennial Road and Arnold Avenue Improvements

described in general as follows:

Centennial Road and Arnold Avenue Improvements: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials,

and equipment for approximately 8,096 square yards of concrete pavement, 3,205 linear feet of curb and

gutter, 1,053 square yards of sidewalk, 1,296 square yards of multi-use path, 1,000 linear feet of storm

sewer pipe, 20 storm structures, 2 storm sewer pipe end sections, and 8,779 linear feet of pavement

marking. The improvements include, clearing and grubbing, grading, culvert modifications, contractor

construction staking, mobilization, erosion control, grass seeding, and all other incidental and

appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified.

OWNER will receive sealed bids until 2:00 PM, April 18th, 2024, at the office of the City Clerk, 300 W. Ash St.,

Room 206, Salina, Kansas 67401. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. All interested parties are

invited to attend. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud, immediately following closing time for receipt of

bids.

Bidding Documents in electronic Adobe Portable Document Format (pdf) can be viewed or downloaded through

the online Plan Room at http://www.wilsoncoplanroom.com at no charge. Printed copies of the proposed

Bidding Documents may be obtained from Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects upon receipt of a

non-refundable deposit in the amount of $150 for each set. Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. must

used in preparing Bids; neither OWNER nor ENGINEER assumes any responsibility for errors or

misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. For any questions regarding

OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. Owner reserves the

right to accept or reject any line item in the bid form.
