NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BID NO. BDC29-24/25 The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below. PROJECT NAME: Stephen Foster Culture Center State Park – Carillon Tower Light Fixture Modifications MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: To be held at 10:00 (ET), Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park (Main/ South Ranger Station), 11016 Lillian Saunders Drive, White Springs, FL 32096. All bidders must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory pre-bid meeting. BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Wednesday, December 18, 2024, unless extended by the Department for good cause. INSTRUCTIONS: Documents for this bid will be available for download on Thursday November 14, 2024. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us. SCOPE OF WORK: Base Bid: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to modify the existing light fixture and installation of an electric wench/ pulley system including miscellaneous repairs per the contract documents. Builder’s Risk Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price. Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid.
