INVITATION TO BID

METAL PURCHASE FROM RAWLINS MUNICIPAL LANDFILL

THE CITY OF RAWLINS , a Wyoming Municipal Corporation will receive sealed bids for the purchase of metal from the Rawlins Municipal Sanitary Landfill, Metal Disposal Site commencing on April 1, 2025, and concluding on December 31, 2026, (No faxed or emailed bids) in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, PO Box 953, 521 W Cedar Street Rawlins, WY  82301, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 2pm ; at which time bids will be publicly opened at City Hall.  No bids will be considered that are received after the scheduled time.  All bids will be on separate forms and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the name of the project “Rawlins Landfill Metal Purchase” in the lower left-hand corner.

Bidding documents and the proposed agreement are available from the City Clerk’s Office at the address shown above, by calling 307-328-4500 or by downloading them from the city website at www.rawlinswy.gov. The bid form, general provisions, proposed agreement, and W.S. Statute §15-1-113 are by reference made a part of the bidding documents and invitation to bid.  The city reserves the right to waive any and all informalities of any bid.   The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept deviations from the specifications, and to waive any formality or technicality in the bidding which, in its sole and absolute judgment and discretion, shall under all circumstances, best serve the city’s interests.  The City may require up to thirty (30) days after the opening of the bids for acceptance of the winning bid.

This project requires a Two Hundred Fifty Dollar ($250.00) payment bid bond with submitted bid.
