Forsyth County is seeking bids for replacement of 5 Ton Split Type AC with hot water heating Unit at the Fleet Maintenance facility located at 3730 N. Liberty Street, Winston Salem, NC 27105.

Qualifications:

In order to be considered for award, the Contractor must meet the following mandatory minimum qualifications:
1)        Contractor must be licensed to do business in North Carolina (registered with NC Secretary of State).
2)        Contractor must be licensed to complete the required HVAC work.
3)        Contractor must have a minimum of 5 years in the HVAC business, specifically in commercial HVAC installation.
4)        Contractor must provide a single point of contact to handle requests, address needs, and manage the overall contract.
5)        Contractor must have a physical location within 75 miles of 3730 N. Liberty Street, Winston- Salem, NC.
6)        Contractor must provide proof of meeting the County’s minimum insurance requirements.

Special Requirements:

It is MANDATORY for vendors to make a site visit on August 14, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the Fleet Maintenance facility located at 3730 N. Liberty Street, Winston Salem, NC 27105. Vendors may visit the location any time between 11am – 12:00 pm and check in with Mario Antonio upon arrival. Failure to make the site visit during this time will make vendors ineligible for award of the contract. The purpose of this site visit is to explain the scope of work involved and to give prospective bidders the opportunity to observe the existing conditions and equipment.

Forsyth County will not entertain prime bids from firms who do not have a representative make a site visit on this date.
