Invitation for Bid for Dispatch Center (HVAC) Air Handler & Controls Replacement

Sealed bids will be received by Ozaukee Coun t y until 10:00 AM ( l ocal t i m e ) on Friday , September 26th,2025 at the Ozaukee County Justice Center, 1201 S Spring St, Port Washington, WI, for the new Dispatch Center Air Handler and Controls Replacement l ocated at the Justice Center, 1201 S Spring St, Port Washington, WI 53074. At that time, all bids will be pub l ic l y opened and r ead aloud.

The Coun t y s eeks a qualified Contractor for the con s t r uction project for Dispatch Center Air Handler and Controls Replacement located at Justice Center, 1201 S Spring St, Port Washington, WI 53074. The proposed renovation is for the Dispatch Air Handler and Controls Replacement for the renovation of a new Dispatch Center inside the Justice Center.

Prequalification of Bidders will not be required. A pre-submittal conference will be held on September11 ^th at 10am at Justice Center, 1201 S Spring St, Port Washington, WI 53074.

Copies may also be obtained at the Ozaukee County Justice Center located at 1201 S Spring St, Port Washington, Wisconsin.

A certif i e d check or bond pa y a ble without condit i on to Ozaukee Coun t y in an a m ount not l ess than five percent (5%) of the total a m ount bid shall be sub m it t ed with each bid as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded, a p r oper contract and bond w ill be executed and filed within t e n (10) da y s after the acceptance o f the bid. If th e Contractor fails to execute and file s u ch contract a n d b o nd, the am ount of the check or b on d shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.

No bid shall be withdrawn after the bid openi n g w ithout t he consent of Ozaukee Coun t y f o r a period o f sixty ( 60) d a ys after the time of opening. Each Con t ractor agrees upon sub m ission of a prop o sal that if t h e same be accepted within said t i m e per i od, contractor shall be bound by the te r m s of acceptance hereinafter contained.

Ozaukee Coun t y reserves the right to reject any or a ll bids, t o waive any technica l ity, and to accept any bid dee m ed to be in the best interest of Ozaukee County. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the s um of the full a m ount of t h e contract.

All bids m ust be prepared on the for m s included in the Contract Doc u m e nts and m ust be sealed and addressed to Ozaukee Coun t y Dispatch Center Air Handler and Controls Replacement , and submitted to the Office of the Sheriff , Ozaukee County Justice Center located at 1201 S Spring St , Port Washington, Wisconsin . There shall appear on the envelope of each proposal, the na m e and address of t h e Contractor and purpose for which t he proposal is intended.
