Invitation for Bid / Emergency Services Ambulance Remounts-REBID

This is a rebid of a previous solicitation with revised specifications

A.        Vendor should have no less than 3 years in business provided the same services. Vendor may provide documentation of previous experience working for other established companies as proof of experience. Forsyth County will evaluate the vendor's years of being in business and previous experience when considering ability to perform. Eligibility will be determined based on Forsyth County's sole discretion.
B.        Vendor must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State.
C.        Vendor must have a local Account Manager, or point of contact, to address all needs and answer questions related to the County’s purchase.
D.        Vendor must be able to coordinate pick-up of the unit being remounted from the County’s facility and coordinate delivery of the newly remounted unit to the County’s facility, with vendor’s staff or vendor funded third-party and without intervention of County staff, at no additional cost to the County.
E.        Vendor shall be financially solvent and shall invoice only after the newly remounted unit is delivered and accepted as satisfactorily complete by County staff. Forsyth County will not issue prepayment, deposits, and/or any form of payment prior to accepting the newly remounted unit.
F.        Vendor must have documented experience providing remount services and products of similar scope and provide no less than three (3) references of previous customers receiving similar type remount units.

Bids from contractors not meeting these minimum requirements will NOT be considered.
