Invitation for Bid Daniel Boone Stair Enclosure Date Issued: August 20, 2025

Amendment #1 - Date Issued: September 4, 2025

The Board of Trustees of the St. Louis County Library District (“Library District”) is accepting bids (“Bid” or “Bids”) pursuant to this Invitation for Bid from qualified businesses for the: Construction of a Stair Enclosure (the “Project”) at the Daniel Boone Branch, 300 Clarkson Rd, Ellisville, MO 63011 (the “Library District Location” ). Please visit the Library District Location to take measurements and field conditions.

See the attached drawings, specifications, schedules and instructions marked Attachment “A”. Bidders are responsible for examination of all drawings, specifications, schedules and instructions for the Project.

All Bids are due no later than 1:00 P.M. C.T., on September 9, 2025.

All proposers are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting at the Daniel Boone Branch, 300 Clarkson Rd., Ellisville, MO 63011, on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 7:30 a.m. to examine existing conditions and take field measurements.

Bidders shall complete the Bid as required in this Invitation for Bid and deliver the completed Bid by email only to Kelli Reeves, Manager, Facilities, kreeves@slcl.org . The email subject line should be “Invitation for Bid ? Daniel Boone Stair Enclosure.

To protect the integrity of the Bid selection process, any questions concerning this Invitation for Bid, the Bid process or Bid specifications shall be emailed only to Kelli Reeves, Manager, Facilities, at kreeves@slcl.org .

It is anticipated that the Bids will be considered by the Library District’s Board of Trustees at the September 29, 2025 meeting after consideration by the Selection Committee and recommendation to the Director.
