BID SOLICITATION Notice
INVITATION FOR BID – ASMSA FB-25-006
Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA)
Hot Springs, Arkansas
ASMSA invites sealed bids for the construction of a Maintenance Building and Wood Shop located at 200 Whittington Avenue, Hot Springs, AR.
Mandatory Site Visit: Monday, June 30, 2025; 1:30 PM CST
Optional Pre-Bid Meeting: Wednesday, July 2, 2025; 11:00 AM CST
Bid Deadline: Tuesday, July 15, 2025; 2:00 PM CST
Project Scope
The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for construction. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site grading, drainage, paving, sidewalks, ADA-compliant ramps, fencing, landscaping, and utility connections or extensions (electrical, water, sewer). The project also involves erosion control, stormwater management, and the preservation of designated site features. All work must comply with applicable codes/ standards, coordination with campus stakeholders, and adherence to the construction documents. The contractor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe job site and ensuring proper delivery and storage of materials.
Bidders shall submit a lump sum bid. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount is required. All work must be completed within one calendar year from the Notice to Proceed.
A State of Arkansas Contractor’s License is required before award and execution of the contract, though not required at the time of bid submission. No construction contract will be executed without a valid license issued by the Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board.
Contract documents, drawings, and technical specifications prepared by Architecture Plus, inc. and are available for review upon request.
